Hi Everyone!

:D

Hi all! Thanks for visiting! God bless you! Photobucket

I love Taiwan 2010!!!
Monday, January 25, 2010

From 3 to 11 Jan, 7 ex-Xinmin students who met through SL and some were from the same class, embarked on a free-and-easy trip to Taiwan!!! We aimed to make this trip a budget one, one that kept all expenses including airfare to less than $1000 Singapore dollars. So we took Jetstar Asia!!

At airport T1!!
From left to right: Danny, Yinning, Ching Yee, Li Yue, Leonard, Wen Qin and Edwin

The whole flight was 4 hours long, I had intentionally slept later the previous night to sleep thru the 4 hours without food and drinks but we ended up chatting and Ning and I bought a cup noodle that cost $5 to share cos we were so hungry on board the plane. Hehe.

We reached Taoyuan airport at around 6pm and then i realised I don't have roaming!!! So we bought a local pre-paid card to shre among the girls and then we also went to get this youth card that entitled us to several discounts while touring Taiwan! Quite a hua2 thing. At the airport I took photo with Feilunhai!!!!

From Taoyuan airport we took a bus to Taipei Main Station where we walked and lugged our luggage to our hostel was (budget, remember?) and the bus trip was around 1 hour long.

When we reached our hostel, we settled a bit of money matters and then went on a food hunt for our dinner! For some of us it was the first meal of the day!! We walked many streets but mos of the shops were already closed. It was already almost 10pm, 9 plus in the evening. Hence we settled for Taiwan style Yoshinoya!! After that we walked back to the hostel and after bathing, we went over to the guys' room to watch tv - Yu le bai fen bai with guest stars Super Junior M!! We were scolded by the neighbour next door for being too loud. Hehe...
(Stay tuned....)

Get to know yourself better~

Get to know yourself better~

Haha got to know this quiz from Teng's blog. You can try it too!

Go to this website: http://www.quizbox.com/personality/test82.aspx

Your view on yourself:
You are down-to-earth and people like you because you are so straightforward. You are an efficient problem solver because you will listen to both sides of an argument before making a decision that usually appeals to both parties.

The type of girlfriend/boyfriend you are looking for:
You like serious, smart and determined people. You don't judge a book by its cover, so good-looking people aren't necessarily your style. This makes you an attractive person in many people's eyes.

Your readiness to commit to a relationship:
You are ready to commit as soon as you meet the right person. And you believe you will pretty much know as soon as you might that person.

The seriousness of your love:
Your have very sensible tactics when approaching the opposite sex. In many ways people find your straightforwardness attractive, so you will find yourself with plenty of dates.

Your views on education:
You may not like to study but you have many practical ideas. You listen to your own instincts and tend to follow your heart, so you will probably end up with an unusual job.

The right job for you:
You're a practical person and will choose a secure job with a steady income. Knowing what you like to do is important. Find a regular job doing just that and you'll be set for life.

How do you view success:
You are confident that you will be successful in your chosen career and nothing will stop you from trying.

What are you most afraid of:
You are concerned about your image and the way others see you. This means that you try very hard to be accepted by other people. It's time for you to believe in who you are, not what you wear.

Who is your true self:
You are mature, reasonable, honest and give good advice. People ask for your comments on all sorts of different issues. Sometimes you might find yourself in a dilemma when trapped with a problem, which your heart rather than your head needs to solve.

Hello!!!
Sunday, September 14, 2008

Hellooooo!!!

Wow it's been like n years since I last blogged! Haha I should start blogging about Uni.

Hmm... How should i describe the feeling of being in Uni? Well I guess I dun really like it, but I dun hate it either. In a way, I think it's boring, in another way, I think it's very stressful. Boring in the sense that you get this feeling of wanting to chiong home once lessons are over. We no longer can stay back and talk nonsense and play in the classroom after lessons or go AMK Hub like we used to. And it's really difficult to make friends. As in you do get to know many people, but it's hard to maintain a close relationship because you don't see them very often like how we see our classmates everyday in JC/Sec Sch/Pri Sch. Because there's no fixed class. That to me is the biggest difference between Uni and the previous levels of education.

Another bad thing bout Uni is that there are like yay many essays to write, it's like having GP everyday... But I think it's just for arts la. Hahaha..

Actually Uni is not as fun as I tot it would be. Nevertheless I will work hard for it! Jia you everyone!

Hello everyone!!!
Monday, May 26, 2008

Hi everyone!!
Just an update about my life, before I fly to HK tomorrow morning at 8am, just to keep my regular blog fans in the loop. Well, This term i've been back to school, back to being Miss Tay. Job scope now is different, instead of teaching History, I'm a teaching aid for the Science dept which requires me to do lesser teaching. Will be teaching till mabbe mid or end of July.

I got accepted into NUS Arts Facualty, and I'm darn excited to go to uni! Going for Arts camp from 24 to 27 June. Many friends of mine are going to NUS too, so I'm doubly excited!! Hehehe...

Well this June Hols for me on one hand is a break for me, on the other hand precisely cos it's holidays there will be lots of activites both personal and GB. I'm going to HK from tml Tues till Sat, will be reaching Singapore at around 10pm plus. Then 4 and 5th june there will be drill practices in school, from 7 to 9 June there is Corporal's camp at GB/BB campsite, then from 10 to 14 june i will be going to KL for our church camp. 16 to 18 june there will again be drill practices in school. Yup so basically that's my June hols!!

See ya guys when I come back! Stay tuned for an exciting update of my trip in HK!! Wish me luck in seeing Ron, Bosco and Kevin!! Tata~~
